Spring Flyout Challenge

May 2021…
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, usual fundraising methods were a challenge, so the New Jersey 99s came up with the idea for the Spring Flyout Challenge. Through social media and digital word of mouth, we were able to recruit over 40 aviators to join a self-guided flyout, with the challenge of journeying to 10 participating airports in the span of one month.
Sponsors included a Lightspeed Zulu Headset, GoPro Mounting Kit (courtesy of NFlightCam), and finally - a ride in a Boeing Stearman (courtesy of Andover Flight), for those participants eligible for the Decaerodrome Award - that is, those who hit all 10 airports during the month of May.
